Rate Raiser Privacy Policy

Coding Friend LLC ("we") makes Rate Raiser, an app for Jobber. This policy explains what data it uses and why. The short version: we read your recurring jobs to work out new prices, we email your clients only the price notices you turn on, we keep a record of each increase so you can check and undo it, and we delete everything 30 days after you disconnect.
Access we request from Jobber
- Clients (read): to show each job's client, whether they are a business, and their email address for the notice.
- Jobs (read and write): to find recurring jobs and their prices, and to change the prices in an increase you scheduled (or put them back when you undo).
- Scheduled items (read and write): to read visits and keep the earlier price on visits dated before your start date.
- Users (read), if granted: to get the account owner's email address. If it isn't granted, we ask you for an email address instead.
What we store
- Your Jobber account: the account ID, business name, your email address for notices, and the access tokens Jobber issues so Rate Raiser can act for you.
- Your settings: your notice email wording and any clients you excluded.
- Each price increase: its rule and dates, and for each job in it: the job's ID and title, the client's ID, name and email address, the old and new prices, the earlier visits we kept at the old price, and what happened (scheduled, applied, skipped, canceled, undone).
- Notices: which clients were emailed, and when.
- Billing: your plan and the Stripe customer and subscription IDs. Stripe handles card details; we never see or store them.
- Activity logs: short records of connections, increases and errors, kept to troubleshoot problems.
How we use it
Only to provide Rate Raiser: previewing and applying the increases you schedule, emailing your clients the notices you turn on (in your business's name, with replies going to you), emailing you when an increase is done or next year's is due, billing, and answering support requests. We never email your clients anything else, never anything promotional, and we do not sell data, show ads, or use your data to train AI models.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run Rate Raiser: Jobber (where your data already lives), Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider (to send emails), and our hosting provider (to run our servers). We share data with anyone else only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while Rate Raiser is connected. When you disconnect it, we delete your access tokens immediately and everything else we stored about your account 30 days later. Stripe keeps payment records as required by law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner by emailing us.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our servers are accessible only to us. Jobber's notifications to Rate Raiser are verified with a signature before we act on them.
Changes
We will update this policy if what we collect changes, and change the date above. If a change matters, we will email you before it takes effect.
