Paid Sooner Terms of Service
Effective October 25, 2026
These terms cover your use of Paid Sooner, an app for Jobber made by Coding Friend LLC ("we", "us"). "You" means the business that connects its Jobber account. By connecting Paid Sooner to your Jobber account, you agree to these terms.
The service
Paid Sooner reads the invoices in your Jobber account and, following the rules you set, prepares late fees for overdue invoices. When you approve a fee (or automatically, if you choose that setting), it creates a separate late-fee invoice in Jobber for that client and emails it to them, and it voids late-fee invoices in the cases your rules say to. If you turn on early-pay discounts, it applies and later removes a discount on eligible invoices. It runs on our servers and acts in your Jobber account only through the access you grant when you connect it.
You decide every fee
- You choose every rule: whether late fees apply at all, the amount, the grace period, any repeat charge, caps, and which clients they apply to.
- By default, each fee waits for your approval. If you tick "Send late fees automatically," you authorize Paid Sooner to create and email late-fee invoices that match your rules without asking each time.
- You can void or change any late-fee invoice directly in Jobber at any time. Paid Sooner won't send again a fee you voided.
Not legal advice; your responsibility for compliance
Paid Sooner is software. It is not a law firm, a collection agency or a lender, and nothing in it is legal, tax or financial advice. Any information we show about state or federal rules on late fees or interest is a general summary, may be incomplete or out of date, and is provided only as a starting point for your own review.
You are solely responsible for deciding whether, when and how much to charge your clients, and for making sure your late fees, interest, notices and agreements comply with the laws that apply to you and your clients. This includes telling your clients about your late-fee terms, and getting their agreement, before you do the work. We recommend checking your settings with your own lawyer or accountant.
Your clients
Paid Sooner emails a client only about their invoices, and only the messages you turn on: a late-fee invoice you approved or set to send automatically, a friendly reminder before a late fee applies, and a note when you waive a fee. The email is sent in your business's name, replies go to you, and you receive a copy. Paid Sooner never collects or moves money; clients pay through Jobber. You confirm that you may email your clients about their invoices. Your relationship with your clients, including any dispute about a fee, is between you and them.
Free trial, plans and billing
Every new account gets a 14-day free trial with all features. After the trial, late fees pause until you subscribe. The paid plan is $19 a month or $190 a year, charged through our payment processor, Stripe, and renews until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from "Manage billing" in Paid Sooner; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We may change prices for future periods and will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change affects you.
Refunds
If your plan doesn't switch on after you pay, we refund you in full. For anything else, email us within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it if Paid Sooner did not work for you.
Availability
We work to keep Paid Sooner running and to fix problems quickly, but it is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Jobber is a third-party service we do not control; if Jobber is unavailable or changes how it works, Paid Sooner may be delayed or stop working. A delay can mean a fee is added later than your rules say, or not at all.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost revenue or profits; and our total liability for all claims relating to Paid Sooner is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Coding Friend LLC against any claim, fine or demand by your clients, a government agency or anyone else that arises from the late fees, interest or terms you chose to charge, or from your use of Paid Sooner in breach of these terms or the law.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do; for changes that matter, we will also email you. You can stop using Paid Sooner at any time by disconnecting it in Jobber. Fees already added to your invoices stay there unless you remove them. We may suspend an account that uses Paid Sooner unlawfully or abusively.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
