Sync Sheets to Calendar alternative: an honest comparison
Checked October 25, 2026. We make Calendar Autopilot, so read this knowing that. Every fact about Sync Sheets to Calendar below comes from its Marketplace listing on that date, and you can check each one there.
Sync Sheets to Calendar, by EventTrakr, offers two-way sync between Google Sheets™ and Google Calendar™ for $10 a year. It has more than 56,000 users. Before you pick it, it's worth checking whether it's still looked after.
Signs of upkeep, as of October 25, 2026
- No update date. Its listing doesn't show when it was last updated.
- No reviews since 2023. The newest written review is from November 6, 2023.
- Its website no longer describes the product. eventtrakr.com, the developer's site, shows a generic placeholder page with no product information or support.
- A payment warning on its own listing: "For some users, the payment form continues to spin and doesn't complete when they try to pay."
None of this proves it has stopped working, and we didn't install it to find out. But if something goes wrong, there may be no one to ask.
What it offers
- Two-way sync: create, update and delete events from the sheet, and bring calendar changes back.
- Import existing calendar events into a sheet for a date range you choose. Calendar Autopilot can't do this; it only tracks the events its own rows created.
- A low price: $10 a year per user, with no automatic renewal.
- Dates must be written as yyyy-mm-dd with a 24-hour clock. Repeating events and colors are set in Google Calendar™, not the sheet.
What Calendar Autopilot offers instead
- Someone answers. Email support@codingfriendllc.com and someone who builds the add-on replies within one business day.
- It's actively updated. It launched on Google Workspace Marketplace™ in October 2026.
- A free level with no time limit. Sync by hand on any sheet, and automatic sync on 1 sheet for its first 100 rows, with no account and no card.
- Your date format. It reads the dates and times already in your sheet, in your sheet's time zone, and guesses which columns hold what.
- It tells you when syncing stops. If automatic sync goes quiet, we email you.
- Preview and Undo. See what will change before every sync, and step back through your last 20.
- Payments through Stripe that unlock within seconds, and if they don't, a full refund.
