Calendar Events Creator alternative: an honest comparison
Checked October 25, 2026. We make Calendar Autopilot, so read this knowing that. Every fact about Calendar Events Creator below comes from its Marketplace listing and its developer's website on that date, and you can check each one there.
Calendar Events Creator, by New Addons, turns Google Sheets™ rows and Google Forms™ answers into Google Calendar™ events. It has more than 3 million users and plans for teams. Here is where each one fits.
Choose Calendar Events Creator if you need…
- Form answers turned into events today. It creates an event for each new Google Forms™ submission, which is handy for simple bookings. Calendar Autopilot's Form → Calendar feature is still coming soon.
- Repeating events and event colors set from the sheet. Calendar Autopilot doesn't create those (it keeps them if you add them in Google Calendar™).
- One sheet feeding more than one calendar.
- A single plan for a whole team or domain, with a 20% discount for education and nonprofits.
Choose Calendar Autopilot if you need…
- A free level you can actually use. Calendar Events Creator's trial is 15 events in total, then you need a license. Calendar Autopilot's free level has no time limit: sync by hand on any sheet, and automatic sync on 1 sheet for its first 100 rows.
- Calendar changes back in your sheet. Calendar Events Creator goes one way, sheet to calendar. With Calendar Autopilot, move, rename or delete an event in Google Calendar™ and its row catches up. If it changed in both places, you choose which side wins.
- To pay monthly, with a refund if it's not right. Calendar Events Creator's cheapest plan is $9.99 a month billed yearly, about $120 up front, and its FAQ says "Current and Past charges are non-refundable." Calendar Autopilot starts at $3 a month, you can cancel any time, and you can get a refund within 14 days of a charge.
- To know when syncing stops. Google doesn't warn you when an add-on stops running. If Calendar Autopilot's automatic sync goes quiet, we email you.
- To see what will happen first. A preview shows what will be created, updated and deleted before anything changes, Undo steps back through your last 20 syncs, and a safety stop asks before deleting a lot of events at once.
